My car finally reached 30000 miles last weekend. That might not seem like a lot, but it will celebrate its 10th year this July. Here’s to many more happy miles…

The usual trick for shooting a light source with a phone is to touch the brightest spot so the camera will attempt to set exposure based on that area. But often that is not enough, what these phone cameras really need is better exposure compensation. 2 “stops” +/- doesn’t cut it, or better yet, provide a manual mode. Looking forward to trying the camera in the (2013) HTC One, it’s good to see a manufacturer move away from upping megapixels with every iteration.
